Immediate pilling/fabric breakdown

I wrote these adult pants to bed as soon as I opened the package. I only wore them for about 6 hours but I noticed immediately that there was large amounts of pilling on the inner thighs after just one use. The fabric was even breaking down where the material pilled and nearly has a hole after just one wear.

I love the pattern, but I'm not at all impressed with the quality of this bamboo.

SO comfy!! I got an XL because I’m usually between a 14-16 or between L and XL. XL fits great, I can wear it high waisted without the middle seam riding up into crevices lol. I’m always worried that if I order large enough to fit my waist it will be too baggy on the hips and legs but the fit is good all around! It’s SO stretchy and forgiving I’m sure I could have gotten a large and easily been comfortable, too.
